Veteran actor Somasiri Alaholanga entered the monastic order on August 28. He was an actor who was capable of addressing the hearts of our country. He rendered a valuable service for the cinema as well as the field of tele dramas for some time. Ven. Sirimananda Thero of Harispattuwa was admitted to his ordination.
He was ordained at the Sri Jayasumanarama Viharaya, Uluvitike, Galle. It is our desire to have a physical and emotional healing for this sacred service rendered by the noble Sahasakkitha.
